Trip to Uruguay: Montevideo and Colonia
Travelling by ferry to either Colonia or Montevideo (or both), we often visit one of the smaller countries in South America (and the other land of the tango) - Uruguay. This is a day excursion and includes a guided tour of the city, luch and ferry transportation.
Trip to a Gaucho Ranch in the Pampas
These trips to the Pampas area always a blast - good food, empanadas, asado and vino, horseback riding, gaucho stunts and shows, more good food and more wine. The gaucho ranch (estancia) is located approx 1 hour away from downtown Buenos Aires. You can't miss it!
Trip to El Tigre Island
El Tigre island - where many of the streets are rivers and the cars are boats. It's a great place to get away for a bit from the bustle of Buenos Aires. We visit a crafts market, take a boat trip, picnic for lunch, and enjoy the old homes and laid back ambience of this historic place north of Buenos Aires.
