The Spanish courses will be held in the University Spanish School in Buenos Aires (University of Buenos Aires, Foreign Language Center). The Spanish classes meet Mon-Fri 3 hours per day and are offered in six different levels (total beginners to advanced).

The Summer program packages above include housing in the student residence in triple rooms. Room upgrades and other housing options are also available, please inquire.

The Summer programs in Buenos Aires include a day trip to Colonia, Uruguay by ferry. The trip to Uruguay is included for free only to students staying in the student residence hall. Students who choose other housing options can sign up for the trip to Uruguay at an additional charge.

The wine tasting course consists of 3 classes of approximately 2 hours each. One class is offered per week and each wine tasting class includes at least 3 different types of local Argentine wines. Classes are held in the late afternoon and the schedule will be sent out after our welcome orientation. Students must be at least 18 years old to participate in this class.

Scholarship amount: US$500

Study abroad destinations: Buenos Aires

Scholarship eligibility: summer study abroad students registered for a minimum of 12 weeks.

Criteria: summer abroad scholarships will be based on the personal statement and scholarship essay, academic performance record and letters of recommendation.

Scholarship application deadline: all documents must be submitted via email in DOC or PDF format at least sixty (60) days before the program start date.

The beginner group Tango lessons are tailored to beginner dancers and are offered twice a week at the gym associated with the student residence in Buenos Aires. The Tango lessons are only provided for free to students staying in the student residence for at least 4 weeks.
