Billiards - Pool Lessons

Course Name: Billard / Pool Location: Buenos Aires Schedule: inquire Price: inquire |
Description: All beginners will learn stroke, stance, bridge and grip. Beginners start off with learning how to stroke the cue-ball at center. Also, most veteran players need to be reminded just how important having a solid center-ball hit is. Once you learn the basics of stroking the cue ball at center, you'll move on to hitting the cue-ball in different areas and learn the different effects on the cue-ball and the object ball. Hitting below center and keeping the stick level will be practiced. The main goal, and most frequent use of "draw" is to bring the cue-ball backwards after contact with the object ball. After learning center-ball and draw, classes will progress to "follow" - which will work on allowing the cue-ball to continue forward after impacting the object ball.
Many intermediate and advanced levels are also available. So the next time you're in a pub and wish you could play a game or two - soon you can! |
