Access to the Internet is sometimes available.

Location: Homestay location varies depending upon the family and availability, but all are located in the nicer residential areas of the city and close to public transportation.

This housing option is available in Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Mendoza and Patagonia (Bariloche).

Meals: homestay

The cuisine of Argentina is distinctive in South America because of its strong resemblance to Italian, Spain and other European cuisines rather than the other Latin American cuisines. We almost do not eat spicy chiles, beans, rice or corn dishes. Most Argentines eat a very light breakfast consisting on coffee, tea, a couple of pieces of toast with jam or a croissant. We do not eat savory food in the morning. Traditional Argentine food, known as Criolla tends to consist of large grills and barbecues called 'asados' or 'parillas'. Italian food like pasta and pizza is widely available and extremely popular in Argentina.
